Did some marking of invasive European buckthorn (Rhamnus cathartica) for a customer this past weekend. The idea is to remove the invasive species, re-vive the crab apple, and then graft some commercial varieties on to them. Anyone have experience with apple grafting?

Excited for this incredible family farm practicing Syntropic Agroforestry and who were my teachers during my time in New Zealand. It was a privilege to work with them and we continue to learn from them as they continue to inspire our work here in Costa Rica. These ideas of “human inclusive” natural systems are the center of our work when we build food forests and edible gardens for our clients and as well, as we build our own tea and spices farm. Fue un privilegio trabajar con ellos y seguimos aprendiendo de ellos mientras continúan inspirando nuestro trabajo aquí en Costa Rica.
