We are looking for experienced Architect in the Construction Industry.
Responsibilities:
Research, program, plan, design, and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing, construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials and systems.
Produces conceptual plans, renderings, and documents.
Plans and programs layout of project(s); coordinates and integrates engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval.
Utilizes computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans.
Produces construction documents in AutoCAD and Revit.
Working with the Project Manager, may direct, supervise, and check activities of workers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents for the Conceptual Design Phase, Schematic Design Phase, and/or the Detailed Design Phase of a project.
Interfaces with Director of Architecture and project managers.
Works in tandem with highly collaborative multi-discipline design teams.
Assists in research and coordination of materials and products for project specifications.

At least 5 to 10 years of professional experience in a relevant position.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, 3D.

Excellent learning and developmental skills.
Ability to multitask, changing priorities in a high-pressure work environment.
Fluency in both English and Greek language.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited institution.
ETEK accreditation with a minimum of 5 to 10 years of professional practice.
5 to 10 years of architectural experience preferably within design hiring firms, field, architectural office practices, field administration, contract administration, knowledge to all BS, CYN and EN regulations. Knowledge of structural calculations and designs, same for M&E including related regulations associated with said professions. Able to examine other‘s drawings and comment where compliances fail statutory or code of regulated practice requirements. Be able to examine contracts whether with prices, without prices, partnering, design and build, pain and gain, safeguard client’s requirements or need, advice on pre-begetting and expenditure, control contractors’ claims including extras, site meetings, scheduling meetings, able to prepare and submit for planning approvals, able to arrange necessaries for building approvals and final completion approvals. Able to derive necessary info from government-regulated authorities such as AHK, water board, telecommunications etc. Must be 00% able to discriminate and reject bad practices unconditionally. Able to write legal, professional correspondence letters as and where necessary. Achieve successful applications without the need of amendments, additions or omissions. Be able to provide shop drawings and accurate site levels. Be able to check on-site building set out locations and comment accordingly. Be able to assist junior architects. Be aware of all relevant disability acts, fire protection acts, and other planning or building regulated acts.
Understanding and knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, building construction, building systems and site requirements
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office suite is required
LEED AP is preferred.
