In between | 2022 - 2025

We recently completed a new residence on the outskirts of Limassol, based on a pre-existing study.

The pre-existing work served as a reference point, providing the foundation to reassess the project’s needs through a new architectural perspective. The new design was organized around two main compositional ideas: the organic flow of space and the creation of graduated privacy filters. Based on these principles, we redesigned both the interior and exterior spaces, aiming for a transition that softens direct exposure to the view while providing a warmer, more human and intimate scale of habitation.

Ολοκληρώσαμε μια νέα κατοικία στα προάστια της Λεμεσού, βασισμένοι σε προϋπάρχουσα μελέτη.

Επαναπροσδιορίσαμε τις ανάγκες της κατοικίας, οργανώνοντας την γύρω από δύο συνθετικές ιδέες: την οργανική ροή του χώρου και τη δημιουργία βαθμιδωτών φίλτρων ιδιωτικότητας. Με βάση αυτές τις αρχές, επανασχεδιάσαμε τόσο τους εσωτερικούς όσο και τους εξωτερικούς χώρους, επιδιώκοντας μια μετάβαση που να απαλύνει την άμεση έκθεση στη θέα και να προσφέρει μια πιο θερμή, ανθρώπινη και οικεία κλίμακα κατοίκησης.

H κατοικία “THREE BRIDGES HOUSE” είναι έτοιμη!

Μια κυκλική αρχιτεκτονική διαδρομή ξεκινά από την είσοδο του τεμαχίου και αφού εισέρχεται στο κτήριο, περιστρέφεται γύρω από ένα αίθριο, διασχίζοντας όλους τους χώρους της κατοικίας. Η κατοικία οργανώνεται σε δύο συμπαγείς διώροφους όγκους που επικοινωνούν, τόσο οπτικά όσο και λειτουργικά, μέσω του αίθριου. Το αίθριο διαιρεί την κατοικία στη μέση, εγκαθιστώντας στο κέντρο της ένα συναρπαστικό τοπίο.

Οι εξωτερικοί χώροι της κατοικίας, λόγω της υψομετρικής διαφοράς του τεμαχίου, διαμορφώνονται σε κλιμακωτά επίπεδα, τα οποία εξυπηρετούν διαφορετικές λειτουργίες.

Our project “THREE BRIDGES HOUSE” is now completed!

A circular route starts at the entrance of the plot, enters the building and following a circular path, around the central patio, passes through all of the areas of the residence. The residence is organized in two compact building volumes that communicate, both visually and functionally, through the inner patio.
The patio divides the house in two building volumes, while installing a fascinating landscape at the center of it.

The outdoor areas of the house, due to the inclined morphology of the plot, are formed on multiple levels that serve different functions.

H κατοικία “OAsome House” είναι έτοιμη!
Iδιωτική κατοικία στα προάστια της Λεμεσού, σε μια περιοχή που χαρακτηρίζεται από υψομετρικές διαφορές.
Το οικόπεδο βρίσκεται τέσσερα μέτρα πιο πάνω από τον δρόμο. H μελέτη ξεκίνησε με τη διαμόρφωση του οικοπέδου σε δόμες, παρέχοντας επιπρόσθετο χώρο για φύτευση στην πρόσοψη της κατοικίας, και τη δημιουργία ράμπας στο βόρειο τμήμα του οικοπέδου, καθιστώντας το ισόγειο της κατοικίας προσβάσιμο σε αυτοκίνητα και ποδήλατα.

OASOME – Our project “OAsome House” is now completed!
A private residence in the suburbs of Limassol, in an area characterized by altitude variations.
The plot is located four meters above the street level. The design process began by shaping the plot into terraces, providing additional space for planting at the residence’s facade, and by creating a ramp at the northern part of the plot, making the ground floor accessible by cars and bicycles.

The staircase of our freshly finished project 'The yard'!

(...) The kitchen was designed in plywood left in its natural colors. The same material was chosen for the staircase leading to the roof and the cabinets below.

'ΤΗΕ YARD' - H αποκατάσταση και επέκταση διατηρητέας κατοικίας στο κέντρο της Λεμεσού έχει ολοκληρωθεί! Η κατοικία έχει επανακατοικηθεί!

Ξεκινώντας τη μελέτη του πιο πάνω έργου, επαναφέραμε την κατοικία στην αρχική της μορφή. Ο υπαίθριος χώρος που κερδήθηκε, δόθηκε πίσω στην αυλή. Έτσι επέστρεψε και το φως του ήλιου στον ηλιακό της κατοικίας αλλά και στους δύο χώρους εκατέρωθεν αυτού. Επέστρεψε και η διαμπερής σχέση μεταξύ αυλής και δρόμου. Οι νέες προσθήκες έγιναν όπως θα γινόταν παραδοσιακά, συνεχίζοντας δηλαδή τη γραμμική διάταξη μέχρι το τελος της αυλής. Χάριν στον σωστό προσανατολισμό, επιτυγχάνεται η σωστή βιοκλιματική λειτουργία της κατοικίας. Καθώς όλα τα δωμάτια ανοίγουν στην αυλή, αυτή καθίσταται πρωταγωνίστρια σε όλες τις ώρες της ημέρας, χρησιμοποιείται ακόμα και για μετακίνηση από δωμάτιο σε δωμάτιο.

'ΤΗΕ YARD' - A preservation and restoration project of a listed building in Limassol city center is ready!

Starting the study for this project, first, we proceed with demolitions to bring the building to its original form. . In this way the inner courtyard is bigger, as it used to be in the past and it can be reached directly through the foyer (heliakos) from the street. Also, sunlight is now reaching again the foyer (heliakos) of the listed building as well as the two spaces on its two sides. The new additions follow the traditional way of house expansion, continuing the linear arrangement to the end of the courtyard. Thanks to the correct orientation, the house is functioning bioclimatically correctly. The relation of all the inner spaces with the outdoor space turns the yard into the protagonist of this house during the whole day, since it can be even used to move from one room to the other.

Η παρέμβαση στο ισόγειο και μεσοπάτωμα των γραφείων της Windsor Brokers, είναι ένα από το έργα μας που ολοκληρώθηκε το 2023! To έργο υλοποιήθηκε σε συνεργασίας με το Dimitris Stylianides.

Στόχος της παρέμβασης μας είναι η δημιουργία ενός πρότυπου φιλικού γραφειακού χώρου που να προωθεί την ανάπτυξη σχέσεων μεταξύ των εργαζομένων. Στο ισόγειο του κτιρίου χωροθετήθηκαν οι κοινόχρηστες λειτουργίες της εταιρείας και στο μεσοπάτωμα επιπλέον γραφειακοί χώροι. Ο κοινόχρηστος χώρος της εταιρείας σχεδιάστηκε με έντονες αναφορές σε φυσικά τοπία - ο κήπος, τα σπήλαια και το φαράγγι.

The intervention on the ground floor and mezzanine of the offices of Windsor Brokers is one of our projects completed in 2023! The project was designed in collaboration with Dimitris Stylianides.

Our design intervention focuses on creating a friendly working environment where the interpersonal relationships of the employees are promoted. The public areas and the common functions of the company are positioned on the ground floor, whereas more working positions are created on the mezzanine. The design proposal for the common areas of the company is inspired by natural landscapes - the garden, the caves, and the gorge.
