In Cyprus, factors such as direct sunlight, UV exposure, humidity, water and the way an area is used can all influence which flooring system is appropriate.
An interior system shouldn’t automatically continue onto an exposed terrace simply to maintain the same appearance. Pool surrounds, outdoor areas and high-traffic spaces can each introduce different performance requirements.

Safety flooring doesn’t have to limit the design of a space.
For Park Beach Hotel, Gizet installed UniPlay, combining the impact protection required for a children’s playground with a custom sea-inspired design created specifically for the project.

The surface incorporates colourful EPDM elements including a 3D whale, fisherman, starfish and crab, turning the flooring into a distinctive part of the playground environment.

The result brings together safety, durability and custom design in a surface made for everyday play.

A look at our work at The Landmark Nicosia.
Across 14,000 m² and two underground parking levels, Gizet delivered a custom UniPoxySkid_AD flooring system, applied in five layers to meet the demands of continuous vehicle and pedestrian traffic.

The project also included a five-colour marking strategy to clearly define parking areas, pedestrian and bicycle paths, accessible parking, charging stations, and traffic circulation.

A large-scale project where flooring, safety, and movement all had to work together.
