Protaras, the tourist area of Paralimni, extends along the eastern coast of Paralimni and stretches for 10km from the district of ‘Kapparis’ to the location of ‘Konnos’. These bathing sites have been rated of excellent water quality according to the latest bathing water report issued by the European Environment Agency http://www.eea.europa.eu/publications/european-bathing-water-quality-in-2013/

Most of these beach are also accredited with the prestigious Blue Flag status for their outstanding water quality and public facilities.
