Want the secret to perfect rotisserie chicken on the barbecue?
Juicy, tender meat. Golden, crispy skin. And loads of flavour.

Grill Master Bram from the Weber Grill Academy shows us how to get it right every time:
• Pat the chicken completely dry before seasoning – dry skin is the starting point for great crispiness
• Season generously, including a little salt on the skin to help draw out moisture
• Secure the chicken firmly on the rotisserie and truss the legs and wings so it rotates evenly
• Place a drip pan underneath to catch the juices and prevent flare-ups
• Let the rotisserie do the work – the constant rotation helps the chicken self-baste while the skin browns evenly
• Cook until the thickest part of the breast reaches 74°C, checking away from the bone. The thighs can comfortably reach 75–80°C for tender dark meat
• For extra-crispy skin, make sure the barbecue is properly preheated and keep the lid closed as much as possible
• Rest for 10–15 minutes before carving
