Developed together with Bauhaus Earth, Timber Earth Campus explores how regenerative materials including timber, earth and bio-based components can shape a fully recyclable building system. Their materiality remains visible, contributing both to the building’s character and to a healthy indoor climate.

Client: B&O Bau

The project is both a research initiative funded by the DBU and a collaborative effort developed together with the client, Bauhaus Earth, as well as Industrieverband Lehmbaustoffe e.V. and Landesbeirat Holz Berlin/Brandenburg e.V.

The first integrated photovoltaic façade panels have now been installed at our high-rise at Alexanderplatz. A major milestone towards one of Germany’s first 135-metre towers to generate renewable energy directly through its façade.

Architecture, inside and out.

The dialogue between exterior and interior is where architecture finds its full expression. In these projects, architecture and interior were conceived as a single spatial idea, unfolding as one continuous narrative where material, light and atmosphere shape the experience as much as form.

A new campus for learning, living and meeting.

The new Federal University of Applied Administrative Sciences in Rostock brings together education, housing and public space in a timber modular ensemble designed to encourage encounters between students, faculty and the local community. Built from around 1,000 prefabricated timber modules, the project demonstrates how sustainable construction, speed and architectural quality can go hand in hand.

This weekend marks the official opening.

Join us at the Open Day to explore the new campus, visit the teaching spaces and learn more about the ideas behind the project.

Riverway City is a new mixed-use urban quarter currently in planning for Kashar, west of Tirana’s city centre. With an area of 5.7 hectares, the development is comparable in size to the urban fabric surrounding Tirana’s historic Skanderbeg Square. Designed for more than 3,000 residents, the project combines housing, workplaces, hospitality, retail, and a network of shared public spaces.

The project is structured around a sequence of shared urban rooms: riverfront promenades along the Lana River, generous courtyards, neighbourhood gardens, and pedestrian passages that encourage everyday encounters and community life.

The project model will be on display during Bread & Heart Festival in Tirana from 3–5 June 2026.

Twelve years after completing our first reuse project, we revisited Munich Re. Looking back at the project today, it feels more relevant than ever: transforming what already exists instead of demolishing and rebuilding.
