The old staircase had served faithfully since the 1970s...

Let's just say it looked a bit like a retired 70s movie star — tired, worn out and in desperate need of a makeover.

A few days later: solid construction, hardwood treads and ready for another few decades of service.

Out with the 70s. In with 2026.

Built roughly 150 metres of custom fencing on this project — and honestly, the hardest part was trying to concentrate on work with views like this 😄

Solid wood posts, clean lines, and enough ocean air to make every tape measure rusty by the end of the week.

One of those jobs where you step back at the end of the day and think:
“Yeah… not a bad office.”

Another custom stair railing coming together 🔨

Simple, clean, solid… just the way we like it.
Built and fitted by hand for a customer who wanted something modern without feeling cold or overdone.

These are the kind of projects we enjoy most — taking rough framing and turning it into something that actually feels like part of the home.

Still in progress here, but it’s already starting to tie the whole space together nicely 👌

Custom chimney mantle we built last year from a solid slab —
kept as natural as possible to let the wood do its thing.

Every edge, every line is just how the tree grew.
You don’t design something like this… you work with it.

Not your everyday project, but definitely one we enjoyed.

Our work van has officially made the journey from Canada to Germany.

Some people bring suitcases when they move… we brought a fully organized work van. 😄

Why? Because when you spend years setting everything up exactly the way you like it, it’s hard to let go. Every tool has its place, every shelf has a purpose, and yes… we might be a little obsessive about organization.

We even brought a complete carpentry shop with us — mitre saws, table saws, router tables, belt sanders, and everything a proper workshop needs.

New country, same mindset: work hard, stay organized, and build things properly.

Window Wood Rot Restoration

This window had severe wood rot and weather damage, but replacing the whole unit wasn’t necessary. We carefully removed the damaged sections, rebuilt the frame, restored clean lines, and refinished everything for a fresh, durable finish.

Strong repairs, smooth operation, and the original window saved.
