Another successful Train-the-Trainer course took place at the Mill Adventure Base in Nottinghamshire!

This was Module 1 for the Adventure Park scope, combining in depth presentations with plenty of hands on training. The candidates are now ready to prepare for their next step!

ERCA joined fellow youth travel associations in Germany to promote youth travel and school trips during a meeting with Members of the German Parliament and their graduate assistants in Berlin.

The discussions focused on ensuring quality, guaranteeing equal access for all children, and reducing bureaucratic barriers, especially for international travel.

Quality certification seals help ensure that programs are educationally valuable, staff are well trained, and accommodations are verified. However, there’s still a need to improve access for children from low income or educationally disadvantaged families.

Youth and school travel play a vital role in education, participation, and shaping the future and now more than ever, they need consistent political support.
