We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dominik Berchtold as Chief Executive Officer of the global trenchless platform around IMS Trenchless and Polypipe.

At the same time, the group is establishing its Management in Zug, Switzerland – creating a strong operational base to drive the next phase of international growth in trenchless pipe rehabilitation.

Dominik brings extensive international leadership experience across aviation and the HVAC industry. His career spans Europe, the Americas and Asia, combining operational excellence in large organizations with an entrepreneurial mindset rooted in installer- and service-driven industries.

The group brings together leading companies including IMS, Resinnovation, Polypipe, Amex Sanivar, Lateral Repairs, Kardiam, Hurricane and APEX CIPP Solutions – united by one purpose: protecting drinking water, safeguarding groundwater, and extending the life of critical infrastructure through reliable, efficient, and accessible rehabilitation solutions.

With Dominik joining the leadership team, the platform is positioned to further strengthen alignment across its companies, unlock synergies, and accelerate international expansion.

🚛🇨🇿 Roadshow through the Czech Republic – Bringing trenchless technology directly to our customers

This week, our team consisting of Christian Schönfeld, Christopher Rings and Nicolai Seifert is on the road across the Czech Republic with our rehabilitation vehicle, showcasing the breadth of our portfolio and demonstrating how our systems perform in real-world applications.

The roadshow kicked off on Monday in Prague at Kanal Bros., one of the trusted partners of Line Control, where we welcomed customers from the greater Prague area for live presentations and technical discussions.

On Tuesday, the team visited a leading sewer rehabilitation company in the region to present our latest technologies and exchange ideas on current industry challenges and opportunities.

Today, the roadshow continues at Line Control, one of our most important partners in the Czech market. Together, we are showcasing our equipment and demonstrating how integrated trenchless solutions can support rehabilitation projects efficiently and reliably.

Equipment showcased on site:

PROcure – LED curing system for controlled UV curing of liners in sewer diameters up to DN 500
NANO E – compact electric cutter for small-diameter sewer rehabilitation

🇷🇸 Testing & Training in Serbia with the UV Stand Alone System 🚀💡

This week, teams from PLS and IMS UK visited IMS Pipe Vision in Serbia for joint testing and training sessions with our UV Stand Alone System. On site were Mark, Garrick and Darryl, working together with the local team to test different pipe dimensions and materials under real application conditions.

Besides the practical tests and training, the days were also a great opportunity for technical exchange, sharing experiences between the teams and strengthening the partnership during a joint evening event 🤝

The focus of the sessions was our UV Stand Alone System — a flexible and fully independent UV curing solution designed for seamless integration with major robotic platforms through its universal connection interface.

🤝 Hands-on training together with our long-standing partner Proline 🇳🇱

Last week, our colleagues Christopher Rings and Frank Dorl were on site in the Netherlands for intensive training days together with the Proline team at Bodenbender.

The focus was on the service, handling and practical application of our IMS MICRO Series and IMS NANO Systems for house connections 🚧

Proline has been working with several of our lateral rehabilitation robots for many years and continues to be a strong and trusted partner in trenchless rehabilitation. Together with a total of 7 participants, the training focused on both the technical service side and the practical deployment of the systems in daily operations.

A special thank you goes to Bodenbender for providing the perfect training environment and making these training days possible 🙌

🚀 IMS Trenchless strengthens its presence in the United States through a strategic partnership with APEX CIPP Solutions 🇺🇸

The newly formed group around IMS Trenchless continues to expand its international market presence by partnering with the well-established U.S.-based distributor APEX CIPP Solutions, headquartered in Sarasota, Florida.
Founded by installers and business owners with decades of hands-on CIPP experience, APEX CIPP Solutions is recognized for its application-driven approach, technical expertise and strong customer support within the trenchless rehabilitation industry.
This partnership marks another important step in IMS’ long-term strategy to further strengthen its footprint in the U.S. market, building on its existing base in Hinesville, Georgia. Customers will benefit from closer technical support, stronger service infrastructure, expanded local inventory capacities and faster response times.
“I am thrilled to be joining such an outstanding group of innovators. With access to some of the best products in our industry, we are now able to increase our stocking levels, reduce lead times, and expand our capacity to bring more production capabilities to the United States,” says Craig Underwood, Founder of APEX CIPP Solutions.
