When the road becomes the biggest obstacle.
When Kübler Spedition recently transported a 360-ton reactor to the BAYERNOIL refinery in Neustadt, the biggest challenge wasn't just the weight. It was the route.
Roundabouts, traffic islands, bridge crossings and gradients of up to 12% demanded absolute precision. With a total combination weight of almost 600 tonnes and a high center of gravity, every meter required continuous monitoring and perfect load distribution.
Using 26 axle lines of SCHEUERLE modular platform trailers, powered by four prime movers, the transport mastered every obstacle. Continuous axle load compensation ensured that uneven terrain, bridge crossings and complex road geometry were negotiated safely while maintaining exceptional stability throughout the journey.
