Africa’s Energy Future.

More than 300 participants, including policymakers, industry leaders, and distinguished diplomats from , , Côte d’Ivoire, and beyond, gathered in one place for a high-level dialogue centered on one shared priority: building the energy systems Africa needs for sustainable growth.

Across the discussions, a consistent message emerged energy infrastructure is the foundation of industrial development, economic resilience, and long-term transformation across the continent.

For Soventix, the event also provided an opportunity to reflect on our journey. With over ten years of active engagement in Nigeria, our COO Tobias Friedrich shared insights drawn from deep market experience, highlighting the opportunities, challenges, and lessons that continue to shape our approach to energy infrastructure development in the region.

At Soventix GmbH - Germany, we have maintained a permanent presence in Lagos for nearly nine years.

This local foundation has enabled us to develop and support utility-scale solar and battery storage projects across with consistency and care.

Some conversations are too important for emails.

That’s why, for three days, eight members of the Soventix GmbH team will be heading to for 2026.

From June 23–25, we’ll be in Munich joining the global renewable energy community at one of the industry’s key meeting points.

Our team will be coming together from across our business units in Europe and Africa, representing functions across engineering, procurement, project management, and leadership, all aligned around meaningful conversations on the next phase of renewable energy infrastructure.

And there’s plenty to talk about.

Across Europe, is currently delivering close to 100 MW of solar and battery storage projects.

We are looking for a professional who will take ownership of core financial accounting processes, including accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, payment processing, VAT and tax reporting, and the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB). The role also involves supporting audits, liaising with tax advisors and authorities, and contributing to efficient financial operations across the business.
