Forgotten fragments of precious Murano glass, sorted by colour, ground into powder, bound with .glass patented biodegradable resin into a paste as workable as clay. Cast by hand. Heated at just 400°C. Sculpted into light.

Constantly moving between industrial production, independent projects, community design and gallery work, believes in design without boundaries - design that sparks connections, thought and dialogue beyond the object itself.

This philosophy is reflected in Lille, the luminaire he designed for Astep. Crafted with a ceramic base, Lille draws on clay’s ancestral and universal character, bringing a sense of familiarity and warmth to a contemporary object.

With its sandblasted glass interior softening the light and a clear, glossy exterior echoing the glazed ceramic base, Lille is intentionally discreet - an elegant lamp that adapts effortlessly to different spaces and settings.

The ceramic base is available in three glazed colour variations: bone, green and orange.

We are pleased to participate in Paris Design Week, presented in collaboration with our French sales partner COMEDI and a Copenhagen-based furniture brand . A selection of Astep lighting pieces has been thoughtfully arranged within a characterful Parisian apartment, offering an intimate setting to experience our designs in context.

During Thursday and Friday, January 15–16th, you will have the opportunity to book a guided visit of the apartment.
