Danielsen Urban Landscape

Have you noticed something new outside SEB Huset? 🚴

Instead of standard concrete bike plinths, we designed custom bike parking made from Danish Douglas fir. The wood stores around 5 tons of CO₂ over its lifetime - the equivalent of roughly 25,000 km of driving in an average car, or about 20 return trips to Paris. By replacing concrete with a renewable material, the project demonstrates how even small interventions can contribute to reducing the climate impact of our built environment.

Integrated steel bike racks are seamlessly incorporated into the timber elements, creating a simple and durable solution for both seating and bike parking.

Thanks to and for bringing the project to life with exceptional craftsmanship and collaboration!

Competition Win!

We’re thrilled to announce that, together with Arkitektar, we’ve won the design competition for Arnarhlíð 3 — a new 175‑unit residential block in the heart of Reykjavík, Iceland.
The building wraps a triangular site at Hlíðarendi, stepping upward with a terraced form shaped by Icelandic weather and building traditions. Generous balconies bring open-air living space to every level, while commercial spaces activate the street edge with cafés and planting.
Tucked inside the block, the courtyard forms the heart of the project. Sheltered from the wind, the space benefits from a calmer microclimate, where small groves of vegetation create a soft, informal landscape that connects seamlessly to private terraces along the façades. A large open meadow provides room for shared activities and natural playgrounds for the youngest residents. The open layout maximizes sunlight, while the gently modelled terrain supports local biodiversity.

We’re very excited for the collaboration ahead with the team and our client !

A greener future for Jægersborg Allé 🐝

Spring is arriving, and exciting transformations will soon be unfolding around Hans Edvard Teglers Vej! This year, the neighborhood will welcome new urban pocket spaces, greener façades, and improved biodiversity.
At , we are proud to be designing a more welcoming atmosphere along Jægersborg Allé including new social spaces where people can pause, connect, and enjoy nature along the busy shopping street.
The project introduces two comfortable seating areas enriched with trees, shrubs, and flowering perennials. Climbing plants will soon enliven the building façades, while planted pergolas and trees, surrounded by vibrant seasonal planting, will bring a new lease of life to the parking area.

Frederiksberg Forsyning 🌿

At Frederiksberg Forsyning, we worked on renewing the headquarters and its surroundings to create a greener and more welcoming everyday environment for employees and visitors. The project was another great collaboration with our colleagues at and , bringing landscape and architecture together from the first ideas to the final spaces.

A new entrance towards Stæhr Johansens Vej connects the building more closely to the city through planting, paths, water features, and places to pause, while a courtyard by the canteen becomes a shared meeting spot with long tables under tree canopies and lights overhead. Small moments of calm and community woven into the workday.

✨ WE’VE WON A NEW OFFICE BUILDING IN NORDHAVN ✨

Together with PensionDanmark, we’re proud to have won Udviklingsselskabet By & Havn’s tender for a new development site in Copenhagen’s Nordhavn. The project is a modern office building of approx. 16,300 m², located in one of the city’s most visionary and fast-growing districts.

The building’s façades are structured around a continuous grid motif in deep green tones, creating calm, rhythm, and cohesion, interpreted through a contemporary architectural expression. The ground floor is set back to form an open colonnade, expanding the edge zone and creating an inviting transition between building and public space.

The architecture works deliberately with a clear base and top, a light and refined roofline, and an expression that both integrates into Nordhavn’s overall character and adds its own distinct identity.

Facing Sundkrogsgade, the office building features an open and outward-looking ground floor, making room for more café life in Nordhavn and contributing actively to urban life regardless the time of day.

The project has been developed in collaboration with PensionDanmark, Danielsen Spaceplanning, and Danielsen Urban Landscape.

We’re excited to be part of shaping the future of Nordhavn 🌊🏙️

Last Friday brought perfect weather for a tour of our projects at Engholmene – and we're definitely not complaining about combining sunshine with views of Lyngholm, Myrholm, Sivholm, Christians Langes Plads, and the surrounding promenades.

It's wonderful to see how the areas just keep getting better year after year, as life along the harbor gains momentum. A bit more green, a bit more urban energy – and a bit more "wow" every time we stop by.
