ACT helps projects move beyond a well-designed aesthetic framework by providing real strategies and models for activity zones and focusing on the design’s inherent potentials and abilities to move and be put in motion. Through a process of evidence-based design, ACT possesses a critical understanding of the necessary design parameters and the process of selecting and planning for appropriate project activities. Drawing upon multiple sources of research, including our own, and experience with existing “active” projects, ACT works in tandum with municipalities and private clients to produce overall design solutions that provide quailty results.
