يتكون المشروع من مساحتين تجاريتين بالدور الأرضي وثلاث شقق بالدور الأول. يقع المبنى في وسط مدينة ميريفيل الصغيرة في الريف الفرنسي. بدأ المشروع بتحليل السياق الريفي المحيط، والأشكال الهندسية المرسومة بالواجهة، والمواد الموجودة. وتم تحديد الجانب المعماري للمبنى وكذلك اتجاهه على الموقع بدراسة كل ما يتعلق بالإنشاءات المحيطة وفي هذا طريقة لاحترام ودمج البيئة المبنية بالإضافة إلى المناظر الطبيعية المحيطة.

The project consists of the construction of two commercial spaces on the ground floor and three apartments on the first floor. The building is situated in the center of Méréville, a small town in the French countryside. The project began by analyzing the surrounding rural context, the geometric forms drawn by the facade, and the existing materials... Indeed, the architectural aspect of the building as well as its orientation on the site are defined regarding the surrounding constructions and in such a way as to respect and integrate the built environment as well as the surrounding landscape.
The planned construction will thus take up the codes of the local traditional architecture. they can observe a rich architectural language surrounding the building: the heights vary, and the roofs are positioned according to different orientations. Geometric forms stand out. This formal vocabulary gave us a constructive lexicon to design the building. This materiality and the warm tint harmonize with the large wooden bays of the shop and restaurant on the ground floor. All the facades, including the gable walls, will be treated with this same material. In the close environment, the town hall declines pinkish tints mainly on its base which is dark pink, as well as the building of the Crédit Mutuel opposite the town hall. The use of color, therefore, generates a homogeneous architectural language in this urban space.

Conceptually, the project intended to create layers of spaces enveloping the main built- mass. These layers are envisioned as buffers to create climatically comfortable inner spaces. they have designed a grand entrance with free-standing walls. A double-height volume open to the sky is created at the entrance. The double-height volume contrasts with single-height internal spaces. This creates an interesting spatial disparity within the space at the entrance level.
For the external facades, the layers are modified to envelopes of brick walls open to the sky. The brick wall acts as a light edge externally. Internally, the built mass opens into a centric courtyard. The courtyard is also enveloped or wrapped by a brick wall around. There are openings designed on the South and West sides to escape the harsh sunlight. The openings are designed as upright and inverted arches. Interesting patterns of light and shadow are created on the internal solid wall and on the floor of the corridor, all around the day. The play of light and shadow creates a dynamic effect in the internal spaces.
