قبل ما تدخل منطقة حفر، اتأكد من الـ5 نقاط دي.
السلامة في مناطق الحفر بتبدأ قبل ما تدخل الموقع.
1- الدخول والخروج
اتأكد إن فيه طريق آمن ومحدد للدخول والخروج من منطقة الحفر.
2-حالة التربة
اتأكد إن المنطقة تم فحصها، ومفيش علامات على حركة التربة أو تشققات أو عدم استقرار.
3- وسائل الحماية
اتأكد إن الحفر مؤمّنة بالطريقة المناسبة حسب طبيعة الموقع، سواء بالتدعيم أو الميل الآمن أو نظام الحماية المعتمد.
4- المياه والمخلفات
اتأكد من عدم وجود تجمع مياه، أو مواد مفكوكة، أو مخلفات ممكن تسبب خطر أثناء الدخول أو العمل.
5- حافة الحفر والمعدات
اتأكد إن الأفراد والمركبات والمعدات الثقيلة على مسافة آمنة من حافة الحفر.
لو ظروف الموقع اتغيرت، أوقف العمل وبلّغ المسؤول قبل الدخول.
السلامة بتبدأ من التأكد قبل ما يبدأ الشغل.

Excavation safety starts before you step inside.
1- ACCESS & EGRESS
Make sure there is a safe and designated way to enter and exit the excavation.
2- GROUND CONDITIONS
Check that the excavation has been inspected for signs of ground movement, cracking or instability.
3- PROTECTIVE SYSTEMS
Make sure the excavation is properly protected according to site conditions, whether through shoring, safe sloping or an approved protective system.
4- WATER & DEBRIS
Check for water accumulation, loose materials or debris that could create a hazard.
5- EDGE & EQUIPMENT
Make sure workers, vehicles and heavy equipment are kept at a safe distance from the excavation edge.

Connecting Sinai with the Nile Delta meant crossing beneath both the Old and New Suez Canal.
Concord delivered twin road tunnels stretching approximately 5.8 km, using TBMs to construct the underground route while integrating advanced fire, surveillance and traffic safety systems.
The result: a direct cross canal connection that brings travel time to under 20 minutes, while improving the movement of people and goods between Sinai and mainland Egypt.

As Cairo expands, its wastewater infrastructure has to expand with it.
For El Gabal El Asfar, Concord delivered 12 km of underground microtunneling, supported by 43 pipe jacking installations and 56 launch and reception shafts, with pipes reaching up to 3,400 mm in diameter.
The result: a large-scale underground wastewater network supporting New Cairo, Fifth Settlement and surrounding areas, while minimizing disruption at surface level.
