This week, we had the privilege of hosting Mr. Jiro Yamash*ta, Deputy Group President of the Global Business Group at Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, during his visit to Egypt. As part of his visit, Mr. Yamash*ta toured Egypt’s Grand Mosque, a landmark of architectural and engineering excellence that has received three prestigious Guinness World Records.
During his visit, Mr. Yamash*ta expressed his deep admiration for the Grand Mosque, describing it as an outstanding achievement that reflects Egypt’s rich cultural heritage and commitment to architectural excellence. He also praised the ongoing development of Egypt’s New Administrative Capital, highlighting its impressive scale and potential for shaping the country’s future.

Melco-MEC Egypt, in partnership with Mitsubishi Electric and the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate, is proud to share the highlights of the New Engineers Basic Training (NEBT) program.
This comprehensive training, delivered by our certified trainers from Japan, provided participating Engineers with a strong foundation in:
-Elevator design fundamentals
-Traffic analysis
-Project Management
-Safety awareness
In addition to theoretical knowledge, the Engineers gained valuable hands-on experience with:
-Elevator components and installation tools
-Installation intervals and quality checks
-Maintenance phases and procedures
The NEBT program reflects our dedication to empowering Engineers with the expertise and skills needed to excel in their careers and drive progress in the elevator and escalator industry.
