We would like to respond to this post, as the information being shared is misleading.
The skip was placed there strictly for building material waste from the renovation of a Penthouse and the contents were fully recyclable construction materials.
Unfortunately, members of the public have since been dumping organic household waste and general rubbish into the skip. Because the waste is now mixed with domestic organic rubbish, the skip company has refused to collect it under the original agreement due to contamination.
As a result, the organic material now has to be manually removed from the skip and placed on the ground so that IMNHO can attend separately to collect and clean it up. This creates unnecessary additional work, cost, and inconvenience — all of which could have been avoided.
If residents had used the allocated community bins just across the road instead of illegally dumping household waste into a private construction skip, this situation would not have occurred.
We take our responsibilities seriously and are actively working to resolve the matter correctly. However, it is unfair to suggest negligence when the issue has arisen due to improper use of the container by third parties.
We kindly ask residents to use the correct waste disposal facilities moving forward so that these avoidable issues do not continue
