REHABILITACIÓ DEL MONESTIR DE SANTA MARIA DEL COLLET - 2ª Posició

Una intervenció que recupera el valor patrimonial del Monestir de Santa Maria del Collet i el reconnecta amb el paisatge del Baix Empordà.
La proposta restaura les preexistències, elimina els elements impropis i integra nous espais culturals sota la topografia existent, preservant la presència històrica del conjunt dins del parc i el litoral.
An intervention that restores the heritage value of the Monestir de Santa Maria del Collet and reconnects it with the landscape of the Baix Empordà.
The proposal restores the existing architecture, removes non-heritage additions and integrates new cultural spaces beneath the topography, preserving the historical presence of the complex within the park and coastal landscape.

La relació amb el paisatge es resol a través d’espais de transició i estructures lleugeres que s’integren amb l’entorn natural.
Els camins i les zones enjardinades, amb una vegetació que canvia al llarg de l’any, generen una experiència connectada amb el pas del temps i les estacions. L’arquitectura s’integra en el paisatge, posant en valor la connexió entre la natura, l’ús i el lloc.
The relationship with the landscape is shaped through transition spaces and light structures that blend with the natural surroundings.
Paths and garden areas, with vegetation that evolves throughout the year, create an experience linked to the passage of time and the seasons. The architecture blends into the landscape, highlighting the connection between nature, use, and place.

VILAR RURAL

Vilar Rural, ubicat a Cardona i inaugurat el 2003, és un exemple d’integració arquitectònica al paisatge. Concebut com un petit poble, el complex es configura amb edificacions de baixa altura al voltant d’un carrer principal i una plaça central, generant un entorn harmònic amb espais enjardinats i edificacions aïllades per a serveis complementaris.
Aquesta disposició permet afrontar la seva reforma per fases independents, adaptant-se a noves necessitats sense alterar la coherència del conjunt. Un projecte que combina funcionalitat, identitat i respecte pel paisatge.
Vilar Rural, located in Cardona and inaugurated in 2003, is a prime example of architectural integration with the landscape. Designed as a small village, the complex consists of low-rise buildings arranged around a main street and a central square, creating a harmonious environment with landscaped spaces and isolated structures for complementary services.
This layout allows for phased renovations, adapting to new needs without compromising the coherence of the whole. A project that blends functionality, identity, and respect for the surrounding landscape.
