Stills from The Night Manager 2 - Season 6 (the jungle scene).

The climactic scene for the whole season (so no stress there….. better get the build right!)

The original set was supposed to be on a mountain-top in the middle of a forest, but it proved logistically near impossible to shot there, so this entire set had to be built from scratch.

Very happy with the results… more of the making-of in a while!

More from The Night Manager 2…..
There was a lot of small sets that needed a greens intervention installed ans struck down by the team at break-neck speed, not very glamorous but worth a mention, and a big bow to the team for their hard work.
El Cafetero (the market place), The Petrol Station ( …. I love petrol station), Hotels, restaurants, airport lounges, tennis courts, The Gun Club.
So many sets, and a lot that ended up on the cutting room floor.

The real owners went white when the came for a site visit, but then again they did get a complete house repaint after the shoot.

Time for a bit of a photo dump,
“The Night Manager” is now available to stream on Prime Video.
Four months of my life in 2024 with a crew of up to 15 at one point, split between Barcelona and Tenerife.
Here we have gloriously lit “Gold Museum”. A statement needed to be made with the entrance so some very dead palms needed to be transformed into some more alive.
