Hanson Hub Project:

A Testament to Resilience and Opportunity.

We are proud to share another update on the Hanson Hub Project, a milestone for our subsidiary, BOUTIQUE BUILDERS, and the future home of the fastest-growing franchise food outlet, DMC. This project is a shining example of what can be achieved when opportunities are given to local businesses to rise and thrive.

We are deeply grateful to Hansons Fiji Limited for entrusting us with this project. Their belief in our capabilities has allowed us to showcase our expertise and deliver a high-quality 30x20m steel structure, imported from China and installed in just 7 days. This achievement is a testament to our efficiency, dedication, and commitment to excellence.

However, this journey has also highlighted a broader issue. As an iTaukei business, we have faced unique challenges in the private sector, where iTaukei-owned businesses account for approximately 5% of the market. Over the past two decades, I have navigated these challenges head-on, building a business that stands as a symbol of resilience and determination.

It is no secret that in Fiji, all ethnic groups tend to support their own. While this is a natural inclination, it often leaves iTaukei businesses with fewer opportunities to grow and compete on a larger scale. We believe that all large companies were once small businesses that were given a chance to prove themselves. Hansons Fiji Limited has shown this belief by giving Boutique Builders the opportunity to rise to the occasion.

We are not asking for handouts; we are asking for "fair opportunities" to showcase our capabilities and contribute to Fiji’s economic growth. The Hanson Hub Project is a reminder that when given the chance, iTaukei businesses can deliver world-class results.

As we move forward, we remain committed to breaking barriers, creating opportunities, and inspiring the next generation of iTaukei entrepreneurs. Together, we can build a more inclusive and prosperous Fiji.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey. Stay tuned for more updates as we prepare to open the doors of DMC at the Hanson Hub.
