Maison Bretagne is made up of a small family team of renovation savvy experts. Jon is an accomplished Joiner / Carpenter who had his own business in the UK for 16 years before relocating to France in 2007. Since this time he has successfully run his small building firm and has been contracted to do jobs in various regions of France, including a town house renovation in Beaune, Burgundy, the conver
sion of a large Manoir in The Morvan, a flat refurbishment in the suburbs of Paris and is currently working closely with The Batiment de France on Patrimonial work in a village near to Saint Malo, Brittany, where Maison Bretagne is now based. Rosie is a designer with 10 years of experience working for Fashion and Homewares retailers in the UK and France. She cut her teeth in the Interior Design and Project Management field when asked to assist in the conversion of an 18th Century Manoir in The Morvan National Park ( Burgundy, France ). Together they have successfully renovated 3 houses of their own in France, from the humble beginnings of a small stone dependance to a large barn conversion. Throughout all their projects Jon & Rosie have made it their mission to respect a buildings origins and maintain or enhance the character therein. This has resulted in a vast database of sustainable building techniques and suppliers which they put into practice on a daily basis working as Maison Bretagne. Jon is a qualified RGE Eco Artisan which enables him to give up to date advice on energy saving techniques in the home, in accordance with French building standards.
