Are you renewing your multi-year residency permit ("carte de séjour pluriannuelle") this year?
Heads up : the rules have changed! 🛑

Since January 1st, 2026, a new mandatory requirement has come into force: passing a Civic Exam to evaluate your integration into the French Republic. 🇫🇷

Who is affected?
All non-EU residents for any multi-year permit renewal (except for "Passeport Talent" and "Talent Famille" holders).

The Examen Civique at a glance:
⏱ 45 minutes to prove your knowledge of:
✅ The principles and values of the Republic
✅ The French institutional system
✅ Your rights and obligations
✅ French history, geography, and culture

Don’t let exam stress block your renewal! At HAPPY IN FRANCE, we’ve designed a 3-hour intensive and supportive preparation workshop to give you all the keys to success.
