Traditional carpentry haunch mortise and tenon plus peg (dowel) all joists chased in and made good every 5th joist secured with a restraining strap good old fashioned belt and braces I've been asked on a few occasions how much do I charge per hour well I charge less than a local mechanic less than someone doing admin and far less than having your car CT you can be charged hourly or if you wish one price total
A few of my customers prefer to engage in the project which reduces the price and develop new skills for their ongoing project
