At the end of any project which requires planning authorisation (a déclaration préalable or permis de construire), when you think that everything is finally finished, there are still two more actions to complete:
- submit a declaration of completion and conformity of work * (DAACT - Déclaration attestant l'achèvement et la conformité des travaux) to the planning office
- declare the work done to tax authorities (within your Biens immobiliers section on imports) and pay the development tax

�* Note, for certain projects, you might need to provide certificates showing compliance with certain construction regulations (e.g. accessibility, acoustic, environmental and thermal regulations, etc). In those cases an independent technical inspector or an engineer will need to be consulted.
