Clement Blanchet Architecture delivers “CLAYSTONE,” a hybrid reconciling and at the heart of the Guillaumet District ( Toulouse - Mairie et Métropole ).
At the district’s corner, facing the viaduct, CLAYSTONE sets itself as an threshold — a welcoming gesture that articulates the and its surrounding fabric.
Two brick volumes, deliberately “back-of-house,” frame a central glazed space: a , and in-between where new modes of working and learning emerge.
A simple silhouette unfolds into sunlit terraces, extending the building toward the sky and outdoor life.
The project couples construction intelligence (materials, techniques, thermal mass) with a discreet modernity (adaptable spaces, natural light, indoor–outdoor porosity). It acts as an urban hinge between two reference levels — the street and the ZAC esplanade — offering a clear “gateway” to the neighborhood, right by Jolimont metro.
“Here, transparency serves life rather than spectacle.
The most radical gesture is clarity.”

Dual-aspect spaces, loggias and terraces on every level, and generous gardens create a work-and-study environment centered on well-being. Environmental ambitions are high: Excellent and Effinergie 2017.
Across 5,525 m², CLAYSTONE hosts several schools from OMNES Education and on two office floors.
