Kitchen install completed in Kingseat, Aberdeen ⚡️

Appliances installed:
• Cooker hood
• Oven & integrated microwave
• Integrated fridge
• Boiling water tap

I also fitted modern black USB sockets which the client chose as they work really nicely with the oak worktops.

All appliance isolators have been hidden inside the cupboards so they’re accessible but completely out of sight, keeping the kitchen looking clean and uncluttered.

Last night I had the honour of being named Best Electrician across Aberdeen & Aberdeenshire at the Scotland Business Awards 2026.

It was a fantastic evening surrounded by so many inspiring local businesses, and I’m truly grateful to have been recognised among such great companies.

I’d like to say a massive thank you to all of my amazing customers, past and present. I started Reid Electrical Ltd a little over two years ago, and I am so grateful to each and every customer who has put their faith in me. The support and recommendations from my customers means everything and is the reason I’m able to do what I love every day.

Another productive week on the tools;

Monday and Tuesday consisted of rewiring two kitchens and replacing emergency lighting on a stairwell at Argosy Control Engineering Ltd, Wednesday followed up by connecting sockets, lights and switches that were rewired back in December. The week finished strong with two new consumer unit installations on Thursday and Friday.

I’m also proud to share that Reid Electrical Ltd has been nominated for the 2026 Scotland Business Awards, with the ceremony taking place on March 8th at Ardoe House. It’s an honour to be recognised for all the hard work that is put in every single day.
