Stage 1 of our renovation project in Sunningwell is now complete ✅ with a full transformation of an old bathroom into a traditional space that suits the property perfectly.
This phase involved a complete strip-out back to shell, allowing us to fully rework both the layout and services to better suit the property.
Works carried out:
Full demolition and removal of the existing bathroom
Removal of original block walls and installation of new stud walls to create a separate utility room (to be completed in Stage 2)
Full plumbing reroute, including repositioning of pipework for improved layout.
All electrical work carried out to suit the new layout
Tiling of a new shower enclosure, along with tiling to the window cill and built-in shelving
Installation of half-height tongue & groove panelling to maintain a traditional finish
Bespoke cupboards and bath panel, all custom-built in tongue & groove to create a consistent look throughout
A lot of time went into the details on this one to make sure everything lines through properly and finishes clean.
Stage 2 will include:
Full utility room fit-out
Installation of a compact kitchen
Renovation of the main living space within the cottage
