🚧 Holiday Cover Needed – Second Traffic Management Operative 🚧

MAC Traffic Solutions is looking for a reliable Second Operative to provide holiday cover and support our crews on site while a team member is away.

We’re a busy traffic management company covering Oxfordshire and surrounding areas, and we need someone hands-on, dependable, and ready to muck in.

✅ Essential
SEQOHS Safety Critical Medical (in date)
Lantra TTMBC
Full 6-point PPE

➕ Desirable (not essential)
CSCS
NRSWA Unit 01 / SLG
Lantra M1–M2
CIS self-employed
Driving licence & own vehicle
Lantra T1–T2, T5, M5, M6, M7
Banksman / Gateman
Highways or civils experience

🛠️ What you’ll be doing
Assisting with set-ups and take-downs on site
Supporting the lead operative with daily works
Handling equipment and signage safely
Helping jobs run smoothly and on time

💷 What We Offer
£16.90–£19.00 per hour (CIS)
Weekly pay
No working away

📍 Oxfordshire & surrounding areas
📅 Short-term holiday cover immediate start and ongoing retention for future works.

Primrose was well and truly in her element recently, helping to select toys to donate to the The Salvation Army 🎁

Exciting Update! 🎉

We’re pleased to share that MAC Traffic Solutions has been issued instructions for one of the schemes we recently tendered for 👷‍♀️🚧

As we move into the next phase, we’re looking to engage with suppliers and service providers who can support us on this scheme and future projects. We’re keen to explore options to fulfil our sites from start to finish, with a particular focus on equipment suppliers.

If it’s used on site, we’d be interested in hearing about it, especially new innovations and products that improve efficiency, sustainability, and safety in site operations.

As our business continues to grow, we’re finding more of our clients are seeking recommendations outside of our direct scope, so we’re always eager to connect with trusted partners who already work within the civils and traffic management sectors and can provide additional services that we do not provide directly.

🚜🌿 Ditching Works with BGG Garden & Tree Care 🌿🚜

We recently supported BGG Garden and tree care with a 2-way traffic management setup for ditch clearance works on behalf of a local farmer.

BGG used their latest investment, the Omef Fixed Tooth Mulcher which made light work of thick vegetation and allowed for easier access to the ditch. This specialist bit of kit is perfect for efficient, large scale land clearance.

To keep the works running safely, we installed ACM traffic lights from Pike Signals, giving full control of vehicle flow along the rural stretch.

We also handled all road space bookings to take the pressure off the client.
