💭 A LITTLE INSIGHT INTO RUNNING A BUSINESS…
Sometimes clients see the price of a job and think, “That’s expensive for a couple of hours’ work.”
But what isn’t always seen is everything that comes before, during and after that job.
As a self-employed business, we have to cover fuel 🚐, insurance, equipment, machinery, maintenance, repairs, chemicals, advertising, phone bills, accounting, tax, National Insurance, waste disposal, PPE, training and so much more.
And then there’s the time that isn’t spent physically working on a job — answering messages, giving quotes, travelling, ordering supplies, doing paperwork, chasing invoices, maintaining equipment and keeping the business running.
We absolutely understand that everyone has a budget, and we always try to offer fair and competitive prices. ❤️
But please remember — when you pay a professional business, you’re not just paying for the time we’re standing in front of your property.
You’re paying for the years of experience, the equipment, the insurance, the reliability, the time and everything it takes to keep that business going.
Being self-employed in today’s world isn’t easy. It takes hard work, sacrifice and dedication to keep the doors open.
