CSE provide Vacuum Excavation services to an array of customers within the Construction and Utilities industries across the United Kingdom.

“We are finding out that more and more companies throughout the UK are now introducing Vacuum Excavation as common practice for excavating around any live underground asset on their projects. All of our team are very passionate about delivering an extremely

reliable and efficient service to all of our existing and future clients.”

This isn't just another lorry. It's the bit of kit that helps us uncover what's already underground.

Our vacuum excavator uses powerful air suction to remove soil around buried services, helping reduce the risk of cable strikes, unnecessary damage and disruption on site.

Think of it as a giant hoover...

Just one that's much better at finding pipes than the one you use at home. 😂

By carefully removing the ground around existing utilities, we can expose what's there and give contractors a much clearer picture of what's happening below the surface.

Safer. Cleaner. More precise.

And when accuracy matters, that's exactly what you want on site.

Sometimes the smallest hole makes the biggest difference.

Our team was recently in Reading excavating connection pits for a new-build development, helping the contractor safely expose existing services before the next phase of the build.

It's one of those jobs that's easy to overlook, but getting it right means the next guys have what they need to keep the programme moving.

And that's where vacuum excavation can make a real difference.

Less guesswork. Less disruption. A clearer route to the next stage.

Just another day of Callum grafting away and helping make construction that little bit simpler. 👌

Just when you think you've reached the end... there's more. 👀

This video gives a real sense of the scale of our latest project.

Our team is carrying out a 250m trenching operation, safely exposing high-voltage cables ready for removal and replacement.

As the camera keeps moving, so does the trench.

Projects like this don't just require the right equipment. They require careful planning, experienced operators and a safe approach from the first excavation to the last.

And this one isn't finished yet…

More trench. More cable. More graft.

Our team was recently on site carrying out a four-day project to lower the electrical services for a lamp post, helping prepare the area for future works while protecting the existing infrastructure.

The team excavated, exposed the services and backfilled as they progressed, keeping the site safe, tidy and minimising disruption along the way.

It's not always the biggest excavation that makes the biggest difference.

Most of the time, it's about doing the job carefully, keeping things moving and leaving the next trade with a site they're ready to work on.

That's the sort of excavation we like. 👌

Every successful cable replacement starts with safe exposure.

Another project underway for CSE…

Our team undertaking a 250m trenching operation to expose existing high-voltage cables before they're removed and replaced.

Using vacuum excavation allows us to carefully uncover buried services, helping protect critical infrastructure while reducing unnecessary disruption on site.

For projects involving existing utilities, knowing exactly what's below ground before the next stage begins can make a big difference.

Safe exposure first. Then the project can keep moving. 💪

Meet the face of someone who's just been told, “smile for the company social media.” 😂

Thankfully, our operators are far better at delivering work on site and operating specialist equipment than they are at looking thrilled in front of a camera.

Huge thanks to his workmate for grabbing this candid moment. We're not convinced he'll be volunteering again anytime soon!

While the specialist equipment might catch the eye, it's the people behind it who make the real difference.

Knowledge, experience and a good understanding of what's happening on site are what help us get the job done safely, efficiently and without making life harder for everyone else.

The trucks do the digging. The operators make it work. 👌

Every new home starts somewhere... and sometimes it's with a hole in the ground.

Our latest job took us to Reading, where Callum was grafting away excavating connection pits for a new build development.

Connection pits might not be the most exciting part of a project, but they're an important step in safely exposing utilities and helping contractors move confidently onto the next stage of the build.

Simple work, done properly, keeps projects moving.

We've recently been on site supporting a new housing development in Lincoln, carrying out connection holes ahead of new utility installations.

Every hole is excavated with precision to safely expose existing services, giving contractors clear access before the next phase of work begins.

It might not be the glamorous part of a housing development but getting the groundwork right keeps the whole project moving.

Safe, accurate vacuum excavation helping keep projects on programme. 💪

Three days on site in Herne Bay, helping prepare for a vital water main replacement.

Our team recently completed a three-day trenching project in Herne Bay to expose an existing water main ready for its complete replacement after it failed testing.

Projects like these require more than simply digging a trench. Working around existing underground infrastructure means accuracy, planning and experienced operators are essential to keep the project moving safely and efficiently.

It's great to support essential utility upgrades that help ensure reliable water services for local communities, and we're proud to have played our part.

A huge thank you to everyone involved!
