A couple of emergency jobs to bookend a day spent with two of our favourite customers (and gardens 😍)

This trip out to Lower Peover was for one of our regular customers whose Oak tree had dropped a limb into her garden with a second one which had failed and was hung up in the canopy. All made safe and removed from her garden and we will see her again in a few weeks for the annual hedge trim ☺️

I am glad it rained on Zac's last day tho.....he had been very, very lucky with the weather whilst he was with us over the summer-except for his sunburn πŸ‘€πŸ«£πŸ˜Ž

Just a half day today so The Bethell Boys can get a round in whilst it's still the school holidaysπŸŒπŸ»β›³πŸŒπŸ»

First up was to grind out stumps and roots of a Juniper we felled a few weeks ago, ready for some new turf once we have had some more rain 🌧️

Then it was another run of Box hedging that had succumbed to the caterpillar invasion that has been prevalent this summer-roots all removed to facilitate replanting, possibly with some Lavender πŸͺ»πŸβ€οΈ

A lot of trees are really struggling after 2 summers of drought 😞 In most cases we are advising our customers to wait to see what happens after some rainfall 🀞🏻

However when the trees are adjacent to footpaths and roads the potential for damage to person or property is very high if a failure occurs then our advice in these circumstances is to eliminate the risk altogether.

The team had a road trip over to Sandbach today for a customer who might not be what we call a regular but who really appreciates Alan's knowledge and skill, and so wanted him back 7 years after his previous visit.

Not everything we do is big and brash, sometimes it's the lightest touch and a very sympathetic reduction ☺️
