Little bathroom overhaul

Existing layout didn't work and the customer wanted a proper overhaul but couldn't work out how best to do it.... So I did.

Bath out, stud wall and frame made tight to window to give me the 700mm width I needed for the tray.

Toilet repositioned with all pipework in the frame.

Bar mixer with rainfall head... Unvented cylinder installed to give it all the pressure and flow it needs.

Update from Northern Power. Advised to turn off any appliances showing issues and to contact them to report via website. They estimated a return to normal operation within the next couple of hours

UPDATE!

I’ve spoken with Northern Power. They have confirmed they are aware of the high voltage issue and are actively working on a solution. They estimated a return to normal operation within the next 2 hours 🤞.

Good evening all.

Due to the powercut there seems to be an issue with the network causing too much voltage in the system. This is causing a number of error codes to flash up on people’s boilers and other appliances. This is affecting numerous areas locally at the moment. Parts of Alnwick, the surrounding areas and even out at Wooler.

Intelligent appliances like boilers will only operate within set parameters and can detect issues such as this. Essentially they try to protect themselves from damage being caused by the excess voltage.

I’m afraid it’s a case of sit tight and wait to Northern Power to do their thing. Hopefully many of the faults will automatically reset in the coming hours, you can also try to reset your appliance periodically. Not what we need over the Christmas period when it’s currently 2’c outside.

One rotten zone valve causing issues of all the usual kinds. Replaced with V222P zone valve
