I’m loving the sweet smell of all the blooms popping up around the house!

Flower farming is no joke. I’m in the process of hardening off all my seedlings and right when I thought everything was okay we had a surprise cold frost the other night, which a lot of my seedlings didn’t make it. Devastated to say the least.

Thank goodness for succession planting.

But we learn and we grow, this is the first year and if I get anything to bloom I’ll be happy. I can’t wait to see where we are in just a couple years from now.

We will be prepping the beds all next week for our seedlings to go in the ground!

What’s up flower friends! I wanted to take the chance to introduce ourselves ☺️ We are a family of four, Katelyn, Jorden, Georgia & Leighton.

I (Katelyn) have been in the hospitality industry for a very long time, I branched out and started planning weddings and other events. During that time I have watched countless of florist haul in thousands of flowers and delicately put each one of them on display.

Flowers were the true star of the show (besides the bride, of course) but they made the whole event come together, with their pops of color and texture, flowers are what made everything jaw dropping. 🌷

I wanted to be able to create my own beauty and surround myself with it. So here we are today, starting my own flower farm with my little family in the four walls of our home.

This is all new to us, so this business will be a lot of hard work, lots of laughs, trial and error and most importantly it will be a family business. We are here to learn and teach our littles about nature and the earth we live on. 🌎

We take all and any advice anyone is willing to pass along! We love connecting with other farmers so please reach out!
