SECURITY ENGINEER VACANCY
An opportunity has arisen in our busy family run business. MTEC was established in 2015 to provide a high-quality service at affordable prices, designing and installing systems to the customer’s needs. MTEC is SSAIB accredited for CCTV, Access Control and Intruder systems.
We are looking for a multi-disciplined Security Engineer with at least 3 years’ experience in servicing and installation. Core working hours are 40 hours per week with some overtime. No call out rota is currently in place with this position, although this may be introduced at a later date.
Essential knowledge of the following:
Experience in the installation and servicing of intruder alarm systems –Texecom and Eaton i-on panels.
Experience in the installation and servicing of CCTV and Access Control –Hikvision & Paxton Net 2.
Experience with IP networks and Wireless Systems.
Beneficial knowledge of the following:
Automated gates and barriers.
Software-based systems.
Applicants are expected be smart and presentable, have a good broad knowledge of security systems, be capable of working independently, highly motivated, organised and fluent in their work, with the ability to maintain excellent attention to detail whilst under pressure.
Company Van and mobile provided for business use.
40 hours per week
