It could save your life.

Today’s reminder is simple:
👉 Press the test button on every smoke alarm in your home.

If it doesn’t sound loud and clear — it needs attention.

🔧 How to Look After Your Smoke Alarms Properly

✅ Test weekly (or at least once a month)
✅ Change batteries once a year (unless they’re sealed 10-year units)
✅ Vacuum vents every 6 months to remove dust and cobwebs
✅ Replace the whole alarm every 10 years
✅ Don’t remove batteries to stop nuisance beeping — fix the cause

If your alarm is chirping every 30–60 seconds, that’s usually a low battery warning. Don’t ignore it.

⚡ You won’t smell smoke when you’re asleep.
⚡ Working alarms give you the time you need.
