Another Oil Boiler Replacement Completed

A recent installation carried out in a holiday home to improve reliability, efficiency and overall performance of the heating system.

The existing Worcester Heatslave was removed and replaced with a Grant Vortex Pro Combi 26kW — a highly efficient and dependable oil-fired combi boiler ideal for properties that need consistent hot water and heating, especially holiday lets where reliability is essential.

As a Grant G1 Installer, this installation meets the highest standards required by Grant UK, ensuring the boiler is set up correctly, protected, and fully eligible for extended warranty benefits.

As part of the installation:
• A MagOne magnetic system filter was installed to protect the boiler from sludge and debris.
• The full heating system was thoroughly flushed and treated.
• Inhibitor was added to help prevent corrosion within the system.
• The boiler was registered for its 10-year manufacturer’s warranty, providing long-term peace of mind.

As of Monday, I’ll be taking two weeks off — after a long two-year wait, I’m finally going in for knee surgery.
