Another job from this week - opened some boxing to find rodent damaged cables and joint boxes buried in the wall. Replaced the joint boxes with Wago boxes and a hatch will be installed for them for access in the future.
Upgraded the consumer unit and replaced the damaged cables with new.🤌🏼

Upgrade of a consumer unit in Llanelli this morning⚡️

Not the tidiest but was restricted with the length of cables. However, neater and a lot safer than before.

Now the client has:
• RCBO protected circuits (protected against overcurrent/short-circuits and earth leakage currents)
• Integrated surge protection to protect electrical devices against over-voltage in the system caused by power surges and lightning strikes
• Housed in a metal clad consumer unit for fire containment
