We cover a wide range of building work, ranging from extensions and orangeries, maintenance and renovations to all general building work. Our current apprentice has come to the end of his course and is staying with us to further his skills.

We are looking for someone who is interested in a career in Carpentry or General building, has a good work ethic and an attitude to learn new skills.

We are based in Ammanford, so applicants would need to be local or willing to drive.

One of our favourite projects to date.

Here are some photos of a holiday home we renovated last year. The job was to transform two derelict dormer bungalows into stunning holiday homes in Tenby.

During the job we demolished all the downstairs walls to create one open plan living/kitchen area, we removed the old staircases and fitted new staircases and moved the landing area to create more room upstairs so we could fit an upstairs bathroom.

Using the most of the limited space available in the upstairs of the bungalows, we made a built in shower area and storage in the eaves of the roof to maximise floor area.

There were many bespoke aspects to this project, the under stairs cupboards with an area for a dog bed, the wardrobes in the bedrooms, and the television wall which has created a space for a wood burner to sit in the corner of the room.

Our last project before the lockdown.

The team made a huge transformation with the patios, flower beds, and fencing.
The areas around these holiday homes were grassed areas which needed to be maintained regularly. By laying the patios and decorative stone instead, the areas are now a much more pleasant place to relax while on holiday and can be used all year round.

Here’s a kitchen that we completed a few weeks ago in Carmarthen.
This kitchen in the basement of the home required new ceiling joists. We replaced them in the existing style, but we added in a plinth around the room to accommodate spot lights to give the previously dark room plenty of light.
A new slate floor was laid over underfloor heating to enable the client to remove a radiator from the room to help maximise space in the kitchen.
The kitchen was handmade by ‘Colin Spicer Kitchens’ and designed to the clients specifications, and finished with an oak worktop.

Lounge renovation completed just before Christmas.

The room was cold before so we installed electric underfloor heating, and fitted a new stylish radiator.
We changed the lighting in the room to spot lights, that shine down the new Split-faced tile Feature wall, which will also be where the TV will go in this new Entertainment Room.
