Here's a large lounge completed today for some first time customers, in my home village of Barton le cley where I spent the first 15 years of my life. It was also my first time using Albany AF1, I think i was a little harsh about it on my story the other day, I was hoping for a drastic improvement from AR2, and I only got a slight, however considering the price, its not full of bits like AR2, and the opacity is better, overall I'd say, pretty good.
The customers wanted to keep the existing lining paper on this one, so the walls aren't perfect no, but we do our best within the customers parameters. I do think from the old yellow walls, to a nice modern grey, and from the old yellowing oil gloss, to modern water based satin, and the usual mountains of prep, its been a big improvement. I also included some close up pictures at the end so you can see the extent ive gone to on the fine finishing. No idea why ive written so much about this fairly normal project 🤣🤣
