Small repair job carried out today. Not helped out by the builders on Picket 20, who decided it was a good idea to use CT1 industrial adhesive to glue the shower screen support to the wall, rather than just screwing it up, like the instructions say! 🤬. The customer had a tiny leak down the back of the bath, and it was all down to the shower screen being installed whilst the plastic protection film was still on the bath, and that has allowed water to just creep under the door hinge, to an area where there was no silicone. As I couldn't get the frame off, I had to put silicone around the inside of the frame. It will work, but is not the right way to do it. There was also a 6mm gap between the bath and the tiles, so it took a lot to fill it.
