🌍 The Truth About CO2 and Dry Ice: A Sustainable Solution 🌍
Part 1: Recycling CO2 for a Cleaner Future.
There’s a common misconception that dry ice isn’t eco-friendly because it involves CO2. But here’s the truth: the CO2 we use is recycled, not newly produced.
At Eco Dry Ice, our CO2 is captured as a by-product from farms right here in Dumfries & Galloway. Without this process, this CO2 would simply be released into the atmosphere without any benefit. Instead, we repurpose it into dry ice – a cleaning medium that’s sustainable, efficient, and residue-free.
When dry ice sublimates (turns from solid to gas), it re-releases the same CO2 back into the atmosphere, maintaining a balanced cycle without adding new emissions. This makes dry ice cleaning an eco-conscious choice for industries prioritising green practices.
Stay tuned for Part 2, where we explore how dry ice contributes to efficiency and a circular economy!
