Great work from our Service Engineer Gareth Sims, who recently carried out an annual inspection and service on an ST28 boiler at a customer site 👏

As part of the job, Gareth cleaned and repainted the gauge c***s and H-frame — boosting the look of the boiler and helping to extend its lifespan at the same time.

✅ Another successful Cochran installation near Glasgow!

Service Engineer Stephen Ellis has just completed commissioning this containerised boiler on site for Cardowan Creameries 👏

This setup includes our ST23 boiler, UltraNOx S Burner, Synergy control system, and an economiser—all working together to deliver high efficiency and lower emissions.

Even better, the entire plant room was built and fitted by our in-house team before arriving on site, making installation quick and seamless.

April was a busy month at Cochran with promotions, new starts and qualifications earned. Here's a quick round up:

📣 Alex Johnstone joined the spares department helping customers get the correct parts for their boiler systems.
📣 Joe Moon returns to the team to help maintain our fleet of hire boilers.
📣 Jiaxin (Cici) Wen has come aboard to assist with communications to our customers and partners in China.
📣 Laura Wilson takes on the role of Marketing & Communications Manager.

🔔 Hayden Shaw has moved into the position of Service Engineer.
🔔 Stephen Wilkinson has been appointed as Team Leader in our maintenance department.

👏 Finally we say well done to Colin McKenzie who recently passed his HND in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) with Distinction.

This could be ideal if you’ve got an engineering qualification and want to move into a role where you’ll work closely with customers, helping with enquiries, understanding what they need, and putting together tender documents.
