Powering the Next Generation: Wideopen U10 Rockets ⚡️⚽️

At McVickers Electrical Contractors, we believe in supporting the sparks of talent in our local community. We are incredibly proud to be the official kit sponsors for the Wideopen FC U10 Rockets.

The team has shown incredible resilience lately, proving that they have the "never give up" attitude we value so much.

Highlights from the Pitch:
The Unbeaten Run Continues: After a tough first half against Birtley Town, the boys showed immense character. A spectacular second-half hat-trick from their No. 9 turned the game around, securing a gritty win and keeping their streak alive! 🚀

Tournament Toughness: The Rockets also put in a massive shift at the recent ENG Tournament. With solid wins against Killingworth Reds and SFA, they battled all the way to a hard-fought Quarter-Final.

Winning is great, but seeing these young players learn about teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship is what it’s really about. We are honored to have the McVickers name on their jerseys as they continue to dominate the season.

We were pleased to welcome Wylex and Crabtree to McVickers today as part of their latest roadshow.

The session provided a great opportunity for our team to engage with the latest product innovations and take part in valuable CPD training, covering unidirectional and bidirectional devices, AFDDs, and updates relating to BS 7671.

At McVickers, we place strong importance on continuous professional development. Ensuring our staff remain up to date with evolving regulations, emerging technologies, and manufacturer advancements allows us to deliver safe, compliant, and future-ready installations for our clients.

Nice to see the Christ's College extension featured in The Northern Echo.

We completed this job late last year, working with T. Manners & Sons Ltd to deliver a fantastic new space for the school. McVickers was responsible for the complete electrical installation, as well as managing the specialist Fire and Security packages.
