We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team at GMC ELECTRICAL, based in Randalstown, Northern Ireland.
As a dedicated electrician, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality electrical services to our local clients.

Responsibilities:
* Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in residential and commercial settings.
* Ensure compliance with current Northern Ireland electrical standards and regulations, and any relevant amendments.
* Work independently and collaboratively to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
* Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
* Demonstrate a positive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Requirements:
* Qualified electrician with relevant certifications and experience.
* Proficient understanding of Northern Ireland electrical standards, including familiarity with BS 7671 (18th Edition).
* Ability to work independently and efficiently.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to long-term employment.

GMC Electrical is hoping to recruit a motivated, experienced and qualified electrician who will have a high level of independence and control over their own work.

Fantastic opportunity for anyone wanting to join a small but growing company.

Job is full time/permanent and all work is local. No work in south or England.

Essential requirements:

Prior experience of working in commercial, residential and industrial settings.
NVQ/ City and Guilds qualifications.
Good organisation and communication skills.
Motivated and ambitious to do a good job.
Willing to show less experienced employees how to carry out task – electrician’s mate.
Hours of working – Monday – Friday 8am-4:30pm Saturday – overtime
Be able to interpret and understand drawings and be aware of costings.
Have a full driving license

A1 Centra Banbridge
Superb new fitout, with Philip McElhone Contruction being the main contractors. This turned out a fantastic job, we worked on designing and installing:
- a full new deli counter
- new lighting, power and wifi
- street lighing and drive through
- specialise lighting in the new kids play corner

Special thanks to Shaun McElhone, David McElhone and wishing Conor and Daire Ryan every success in their fantastic new shop.
