One of our repeat customers had asked for a cherry tree taken out at Gateside a few weeks back to create some space along with a sycamore that had a nasty split in the back of it. Both trees had to be climbed and dismantled and all logs were retained by the customer who will have fire wood for the next few winters! Here's one of our more recent jobs carried out in Carnoustie, this lovely robinia tree sadly had to be dismantled and removed due to the trunk and the root system damaging the wall next to it. A local job undertaken recently required this mature Sycamore tree to be pollarded. A combination of speed lining and rigging was used to lower the branches to avoid damage, in this instance the customer wished to retain all firewood and some of the chips from the branch wood but they can be removed apon request.
