Once again travel to Arran has been disrupted by the ferry scenario (high winds this time🤔).I have a van full of materials to get over but the first booking i can get is Thursday. Bearing in mind I was booked on the 7 am from Ardrossan this morning which was cancelled, no notification and no transfer to Troon.

I can only apologise to my customers this week and doing my best to make another arrangement. Only way I can guarantee getting over before Thursday is a 3 hr drive to Clonaig then over to Lochranza. 😫

An example of the process that's required to make these houses look good again also the protection aspect.

We soft chemical washed the K rend, a lot of cracks repaired. All the Upvc cleaned. All failed silicone removed around windows and resealed. Gutters cleared of moss.
Then a base coat of Caparol EG primer, top coat of Caparol Muresko masonry finish. Down pipes 2 coats of Caparol trimaax venti in black. Cills 2 coats of Caparol Amphibolin in anthracite grey.

Job done, customer happy.

Not very often the guy who started it all turns up on the job William Muir. Needless to say he gave me a wee lesson on paper hanging. 81 next month and still dipping a brush! 👌💪

Been quiet on here for a while.

A recent exterior just completed using Caparol products. This one was a challenge, the customer wanted "kerb appeal" think he got it.

Particular thanks to David Jamieson jnr on this project for his hard work and organisation.
