We got called in to removed this massive 300-year-old Beech tree. Unfortunately, a severe fungal (Ganoderma) infection had completely taken over. Standing close to a historic house with storm season approaching, a giant tree with zero basal stability posed an immediate and catastrophic risk. To safely bring it down we brought in a crane for a controlled, dismantle. Watch to the end of the video to see just how bad the decay really was.

and working the ropes on these nice mature deciduous trees, carefully reducing larger branches that were encroaching on a customer’s new-build home.
The plan was to remove the risk while preserving the trees natural form. Safety first, but aesthetics always! ✅
