A leaking chimney given a new lease of life.

The existing plastered block chimney had no lead tray fitted, which was causing ongoing water ingress.

Rather than removing and rebuilding the chimney, we offered the customer another option — fully wrapping it in Kalzip standing seam aluminium, complete with a bespoke ventilated chimney top.

A practical solution to the leaking chimney while giving it a clean, modern finish.

Flat Roof Replacement – Before & After

This flat roof was originally installed in 2010 with no vapour control layer (VCL) and inadequate ventilation. As can be seen from the photos, the roof deck had severely deteriorated due to long-term condensation issues, and in places it was unsafe to walk on.

The roof structure had been sweating from the inside out, resulting in extensive timber decay.

Works completed:
✔ Removed all decayed timber and defective materials
✔ Raised and adjusted the roof lantern
✔ Installed new structural roof decking
✔ Fitted a high-performance Vapour Control Layer (VCL)
✔ Installed TR27 rigid insulation
✔ Finished with a fully bonded Elevate EPDM roofing membrane

The new roof now provides a warm roof construction with improved thermal performance, condensation control, and long-term weather protection.
